Al Akhawayn University

Al Akhawayn University is an institution of higher education, based in Ifrane, Morocco. It was established by Royal Decree (Dahir) in 1993 and was officially inaugurated by the former King of Morocco, in 1995. Al Akhawayn offers a variety of undergraduate program options in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Engineering, and Business Administration. All courses at the school are taught in English. Another fact worth noting is that the institution has put great emphasis on the teaching of Arabic and French in all fields of education. About 10% of the students body is international with an objective to reach 25% over the next 5 years. Furthermore, every semester there are 60-70 exchange and study abroad students.
