American University in Bulgaria

The American University in Bulgaria is a private American-style university, situated in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Founded in 1991, the school offers liberal arts education, prompting students to develop their critical thinking, imagination, and problem solving skills. AUBG is accredited both in the US and in Bulgaria, while academic credits are fully transferable in Europe and in the United States. The five academic opportunities that the school offers include Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Political Science, and Journalism and Mass Communication. All of these were ranked among the country’s best. The school welcomes about 1000 students, coming from 40 different countries. The faculty is highly qualified and greatly diverse as well.
