Diálogo Brazil (Dialogo Portuguese Language School) is a school of Brazilian Portuguese for foreigners in Salvador, Bahia, founded in 1989. It occupies a two-storey house with eight air-conditioned classrooms in the Barra district, two minutes' walk from Porto da Barra beach and near the historic Pelourinho district.
Courses cover all levels from A1 to C2 and are taught in Portuguese only by native Brazilian teachers who specialise in Portuguese as a foreign language; about half of class time is spent on speaking and listening. New courses start every Monday and students choose how many weeks to stay. Options include:
- Group classes: 20 lessons of 50 minutes per week, Monday to Friday mornings
- Combos of morning group classes with one to three afternoon private classes a day
- One-to-one private classes
- Tailor-made programmes for companies, universities and institutions
- A volunteering programme
A placement interview, dance classes (samba, forró and axé), capoeira, percussion and a certificate are included. Students under 18 are generally accepted only with a parent. Accommodation is in the same neighbourhood: homestays with breakfast, a room inside the school, a student residence or hotels.

Programmes
- Brazil Workshop (group classes): 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons a day from 9:00 to 12:30, Monday to Friday
- Combo 1, 2 and 3: morning group classes plus 1, 2 or 3 private classes a day in the afternoon
- Private one-to-one classes (TOP programmes)
- Volunteering programme
Levels A1 to C2, lessons of 50 minutes, new courses every Monday. Courses include a placement interview, dance, capoeira and percussion classes and a certificate.
Housing
All accommodation is in the same neighbourhood as the school:
- Homestay with a host family: private room and breakfast, use of the kitchen, 5 to 10 minutes' walk from the school
- Single room with private bathroom inside the school, shared kitchen, no meals
- Student residence (single or double room, shared kitchen) through partners
- Simple hotel or tourist class hotel
Accommodation with breakfast or half board and arrival and departure transfers can be added to a programme.
