TANDEM Hamburg is a language school in the centre of Hamburg, a few steps from the Baumwall underground station (U3). It mainly teaches German as a foreign language, and also offers English and other foreign languages. According to the school, it has been running courses for 40 years. Lessons take place at the school, online or in-house at companies.

German courses cover all levels from A1 to C1 and are taught in small groups with a communicative approach that practises speaking, listening, reading and writing in realistic situations. The intensive courses are aimed at international students preparing for university, a new job or a longer stay in Germany, while the evening courses suit people who work during the day. TANDEM Hamburg is also an exam centre for telc German exams and TestDaF.
