Nursing with International Preparation at Saint Louis University-Madrid’s University has received the 2013 Heiskell Award Special Recognition for Internationalizing and Globalizing the Professions. This award was designed by the Institute of International Education (IIE) to endorse and venerate the most outstanding initiatives run in international higher education by U.S. universities and colleges. During their first two years of study at SLU-Madrid, students will conduct their medical experiences at Sanitas facilities in Madrid. After which, students will conduct their last two years of study on the St. Louis campus, completing their clinical experiences at SLU Hospital, which is considered one of the leading medical establishments in the United States.
