Bircham University’s Building Technology & Design program features the major systems used in the design of a building, how it is built and how components of the same building interrelate and influence each other. The program focuses on the ideologies underlying building construction. These can serve as guides for the evaluation and implement of new materials, products and standards in the planning, design and erection of a building. Each building component, section or system is defined in terms of its functionality. If agreed by the faculty, this program may lead to a major in Architecture.
