How do you make a handshake account for alumni?
If you do not have an account with the email you entered, you'll need to sign up, follow the steps below!
- Click the "I'm a student or Alumni" option.
- Create your account by entering your email address in the provided space, then click Continue.
- Select your school from the dropdown, then click Continue.
Can alumni still use Handshake?
Students and alumni have the same access on Handshake with a Student account. However, some features may only be available to those who are attending the current school year. You may need to be approved by the school to access all of their offerings.How do I set up a Handshake account?

- Visit Handshake.
- Click Sign up for an Account.
- Select the Employer account type from the options presented.
- Fill out the information requested then click Sign Up.

To access Handshake, a user account is required. If you've been invited to a school or by a colleague, you can create an account by clicking the link that is included in the invitation email. Handshake provides three profile privacy options for student accounts: Community, Employers, and Private.
