If a classroom has not been assigned yet, the course can be dropped from your child's dashboard. Once a classroom is assigned, you will need to call or email the assigned teacher to request withdrawal.What happens if you fail a FLVS class?

Students enrolling into the local public school or transitioning into Florida Virtual School Full Time will be held accountable for all district graduation requirements and will no longer be considered a homeschool student.Does FLVS Flex cost money?

Students must earn a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale for all cohort years and pass statewide, standardized assessments unless a waiver of assessment results is granted by the IEP team for students with disabilities.How many classes do you have to take in FLVS?
Students are required to complete 6 courses during the semester of graduation. This is an accreditation requirement. Students who need less than 6 credits to meet graduation requirements are not eligible for a diploma through Florida Virtual School.How fast can you finish hope on FLVS?
HOPE is a two-segment course and, per NCAA regulations, you must spend at least 21 days in each segment. That means the soonest you can finish the entire HOPE course is 42 days from your start date. You'll read more about this "21-day-per-segment seat time requirement" in the course, so don't panic.Do you get a diploma with FLVS?
FLVS Full Time offers diplomas for students who graduate from our full-time public school. Find more information about this option here. FLVS Flex does not currently grant a diploma.
