It opened in 1996 as a school of German and English and has taught Spanish as a foreign language since 2001. It is an accredited centre of the Instituto Cervantes.
Spanish courses run all year at all levels; students with some Spanish can start any Monday, while beginners have set start dates. Lessons last 45 minutes and groups have at most nine students.

- Private classes, also for business Spanish
- DELE preparation, with registration for the exam at the University of Málaga

There are activities and excursions every Thursday, tutorials every Tuesday and trips to places such as Ronda, Seville, Córdoba and Granada; local students learning German take part in some events.
