Academia Latinoamericana de Español, now presented as LatinoSchools, is a Spanish language school with centres in Quito (Ecuador), Cusco (Peru) and Sucre (Bolivia). Courses run all year with open enrolment, from complete beginner to advanced level, and students with little or no Spanish can join. A placement test puts each student at the right level, and weekly evaluations let students move on at their own pace.

Alongside the language courses, the school arranges medical shadowing in clinics and hospitals, including clinical rotations for graduate students and professionals, and service-learning projects and internships, for example with children, families in need, community centres or nature conservation. Students usually live with a local host family; in Sucre there is also a student residence.

Housing
In Quito, Cusco and Sucre, students can stay with a local host family, who share their customs, way of life and typical food and act as a support network during the programme. In Sucre, Bolivia, there is also a student residence where students live together.
