Academia Sílabas (Sí.la.bas) is a language and tutoring school in the Chamberí district of Madrid, at Calle Cardenal Cisneros 82, close to the Quevedo, Iglesia and Canal metro stations. It was founded in 2000 and has taught students of different nationalities and of all ages, from three-year-olds to retired people.
- Spanish for foreigners, from beginner to advanced level
- English classes, with an emphasis on speaking
- Small group classes and individual lessons planned around each student's needs
- Online classes, including Spanish lessons by Skype
- School tutoring (apoyo escolar) for primary and secondary pupils
Most of the language teachers are native speakers. Online classes are aimed at students with little time to travel or who live in another country. The school adapts to students' timetables and is open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 20:30.
