García Lorca Escuela de Español

García Lorca Escuela de Español (Lorca Spanish School) is a Spanish school in Madrid. Its website now centres on a one-year programme for English speakers that combines a Spanish course with an international TEFL certificate for teaching English.

• Spanish course of 20 hours per week, which the school describes as accredited and held at an Instituto Cervantes-accredited academy
• 120-hour international TEFL certificate with paid teaching practice
• Three-level Spanish curriculum: absolute beginner, elementary and intermediate

According to the school, participants study on a one-year student visa that allows work of up to 30 hours per week. The site also mentions an intensive course, DELE preparation and an extensive course. No reservation is needed for the extensive course; for the intensive course or DELE preparation, applicants return an application form by email and are told within a week whether they have been accepted. The school is located at Calle Doctor Esquerdo 112 in Madrid.
