Adcote School for Girls is an independent day and boarding school for girls aged 7 to 18 in Little Ness, near Shrewsbury, in the Shropshire countryside of England. It was founded in 1907 by Amy Gough, is owned by IQ Schools Group Ltd and is a member of the GSA. The school is non-selective and teaches in small classes, with its Prep School, Senior School and Sixth Form on one site.
Its CLEAR Learning Programme (confidence, leadership, engagement, achievement and resilience) runs through the curriculum and includes termly Challenge Days. Older pupils can join the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the Combined Cadet Force, and Sixth Form students can gain a CMI award in Leadership and Management. According to the school, it won the ISA Senior School of the Year Award in 2020.
Entry is by interview, assessment and a report from the current school, and pupils can join in any year group. A Level applicants need five GCSEs at grade 5 or above. The school has a Sixth Form boarding house; a school minibus usually collects boarders from major airports, and minibus routes serve day pupils from towns across Shropshire. Scholarships, means-tested bursaries and sibling and Armed Forces discounts are available.

Admission
Entry to day and boarding places is by interview, assessment and a report from the current school; references must be submitted and verified. Pupils may join in any year group, and during the academic year by special arrangement with the Headteacher. Applicants can spend a taster day or night at the school, and separate application forms exist for the Prep School, Senior School and Sixth Form.
