Albion College is a liberal arts college founded in 1835 in the small city of Albion, Michigan, in the United States, on the Kalamazoo River. Students choose from more than 100 majors, minors and concentrations, with no waiting lists for majors, and every student graduates with hands-on experience such as internships, research, creative projects, community engagement or study abroad.

All admitted international students are eligible for scholarships covering about 60% of expenses. Albion is a residential campus: students live in college-owned housing for all four years, and there are over one hundred student clubs and organisations.

Students may also design their own major.
International students apply through the Albion Application or the Common Application and submit:
- A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $25
- Official academic records sent by the school, university or an EducationUSA adviser, with certified translations if not in English
- Proof of English proficiency
- An application essay and a letter of recommendation
SAT and ACT scores are optional. Late applications may be deferred to the spring semester because of the F-1 visa process. For the I-20, admitted students must document funds covering their first year.
Albion has no ESL programme, so all applicants must show English proficiency. Minimum scores (total / subscore):
- TOEFL iBT taken on or after 21 January 2026: 4.5 / 4.0 (earlier tests: 79 / 17)
- IELTS: 6.5 / 6.0
- Duolingo English Test: 100 / 85
- PTE Academic: 53
- SAT 510 in Reading/Writing or ACT 19 in English and Reading
- ELS level 112, or IB English A at 5 or above
Applicants from a list of English-speaking countries are exempt.
Costs for new students in the 2027-28 academic year (US$):
- Tuition: $38,000
- Student activity and health and wellness fee: $660
- Housing (Wesley/Seaton): $6,480
- Meals (21-meal plan): $7,190
- Total billed cost: $52,330
International students must also buy college-approved health insurance, estimated at $1,600 a year.
International students who meet or exceed the minimum admission requirements receive an academic scholarship, and all admitted international students are eligible for awards covering about 60% of expenses. The amount is communicated with the admission decision. Families are generally expected to cover most of the cost from outside sources; Albion does not give loans but accepts external scholarships.
Albion is a residential campus: all students must live in college-owned housing for their four years of study, with a range of housing options in later years. Students over 23 are exempt. Moving to non-college housing may reduce financial aid.
