Árbol Madre Holistic School is a small Waldorf (Steiner) school in Órgiva, in the Alpujarra mountains of Granada province, for children aged 3 to 11. Its approach, described as holistic Waldorf education in nature, aims to develop the whole child, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically, through an arts-integrated, child-centred approach that respects each stage of development.
The school is authorised by the Andalusian Department of Education and the Ministry of Education (centre code 18015791). It is a candidate for American accreditation by NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and an Iniciativa Amiga of the Association of Waldorf-Steiner Educational Centres in Spain.
The school community is multicultural, with pupils from more than eight nationalities who speak over ten languages between them. Enrolment for the 2026-27 school year is open, places are limited, and families can schedule a tour or contact the school through the website.
