The Atlantic School of English & Active Leisure (Atlantic SEAL) is an English language school in Schull, a small town on the Mizen Peninsula in West Cork, Ireland. It was founded in 1999 and has three centres within walking distance of each other, for kids, juniors and adults, with students aged from 4 to over 84. The founder, a teacher trainer who has run Trinity College London CertTESOL courses, designed syllabuses aligned with the CEFR. Teaching is in small groups, and after morning classes students join their teachers for an afternoon leisure programme.

Mornings are spent in class and afternoons on the leisure programme with teachers.
Graduate programmes
Teacher training courses for English teachers (native or non-native speakers), teachers working through English (CLIL) and school management or administrative staff. The CLIL and Teacher Refresher courses are eligible for Erasmus+ funding; topics include mindfulness in the classroom, Irish culture and environmental sustainability, CLIL, and marine ecology and conservation. The founder, Barbara Connelly (CELTA, DipTESOL), has trained teachers for the Trinity College London CertTESOL.
Admission
Programmes are for students aged 4 to 84 and over: the Young Kids' camp for ages 4 to 8, the Junior Programme for ages 9-12 and 13-17 at Easter and in summer, and adult courses all year. Non-EEA students on long-term programmes of 25 weeks or more follow specific terms and policies. Applications are made with the school's printable or interactive forms.

- Standard host family: breakfast and evening meal daily, plus a packed lunch for juniors
- Executive host family: experienced hosts, usually within walking distance of the village and school, some with a private bathroom
- Self-catering host family: use of the home's kitchen, the lowest-priced option
- Small residential accommodation for families, adults and small groups, close to the three school centres
A Host Family Liaison Officer matches each student with a family.
