Baker College is a private, non-profit college in Michigan, founded in 1911, with its enrolment centre in Owosso. It offers associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees on six Michigan campuses and online, where it has taught since 1994; many programmes can be completed fully online. Baker is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and states that it has small class sizes.

International applicants complete the International Student Packet and submit it to the campus they plan to attend:

- Secondary and any post-secondary transcripts, evaluated by a NACES-approved credential service
- TOEFL (or accepted alternative) score
Forms should be requested a year in advance and the application filed at least 120 days before the semester starts. Admitted students receive an acceptance letter and Form I-20, must meet student visa requirements and pay an advance tuition deposit; health and accident insurance is recommended.
All international applicants must take the TOEFL, and official scores must arrive before admission is considered. For undergraduate admission, the requirement may be waived if the country of education has English as its official language, with an SAT Evidence-Based Reading/Writing score of 450 or an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher. Graduate applicants need TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 7.0; doctoral programmes require TOEFL iBT 93.
The Owosso campus has a residence hall community (Baker and Kurtz Halls) a short walk from classes. Each unit houses up to four students, with individual bedrooms and shared living and bathroom spaces, and is furnished with bed, desk, dresser, kitchen table, stove and refrigerator. New students at the Cadillac, Owosso and Port Huron campuses can apply for the BC Housing Scholarship, which discounts housing costs.
