Bentley University

Bentley University is a private, not-for-profit university focused on business, about 20 minutes from Boston. Its history goes back to 1917, when Harry C. Bentley first brought together 30 accounting students on Huntington Avenue in Boston. Bentley combines business education with the arts and sciences.

Undergraduates can combine fields such as International Affairs with Spanish for Business, or Language, Culture and Business with International Affairs. A four-year Women's Leadership Program is also offered. According to the university, 97 to 99 percent of graduates have been employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation for more than a decade. Students can live on campus, and the Residential Center has information for first-year, transfer and exchange students as well as on off-campus housing. International graduate students on F-1 or J-1 visas must study full time, and merit-based scholarships are available to a select number of graduate applicants.
