Blue Ridge High School is a high school based in Greer, South Carolina. The institution welcomes about 1,200 students, most of whom live in a rural community. The school takes special pride in the warm, welcoming environment it creates for students. The school has recently undergone a major reconstruction, which has equipped it with renovated classrooms, newly equipped computer labs, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a refurbished cafeteria and auditorium. The technology in the media center has been renewed, too, and so have the sports facilities. Another distinctive feature of the school is their foreign language program, which allows students to study four different foreign languages in four consecutive years. Finally, the school’s fine arts program has been the recipient of numerous awards, including several state championships in band, an award-winning chorus program, drama, and broadcast journalism.
