British Montessori (El Enebral) is a private, co-educational, non-denominational British school on Paseo Belmas in Collado Villalba, in the Sierra de Madrid. It belongs to the British Montessori group, which also runs two schools in Alpedrete. The school states that it is a British foreign school fully authorised by the Comunidad de Madrid, so its studies can be homologated with the Spanish system. It is a member of NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain), is subject to the British Council's quality controls for British schools, and is a recognised Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel examination centre.
From early years to the end of secondary, the school follows the UK curriculum with added Spanish language and culture. Children start with the Montessori method in early years, and its influence continues in later stages.
