International undergraduates are automatically considered for merit scholarships, with no separate application or essay (students sponsored by their home country are not eligible). Awards based on 2026-27 rates:
- International President's Award (GPA 3.3 or higher): US resident tuition rate, a saving of about $9,144 per year

Freshmen keep the award for four years and transfer students for three. More than 34% of eligible international freshmen do not pay the full international rate.
