École Centrale de Lyon (Centrale Lyon) is a French grande école of engineering with campuses in Lyon-Écully and Saint-Étienne, where its in-house school Centrale Lyon ENISE is based. It belongs to the Groupe des Écoles Centrale and has 330 researchers and teacher-researchers. Training runs from post-baccalaureate to doctorate:
- Preparatory cycles and bachelors, including a Bachelor of Science in Data Science for Responsible Business (Lyon-Écully) and a bachelor in civil engineering (Saint-Étienne)
- General engineering degree (three years, taught in French) and specialty engineering degrees
- Some twenty scientific master's programmes, eight of them international masters taught entirely in English
- Doctorates, institutional degrees and continuing education
The main route into the general engineering programme is the CentraleSupélec competitive exam after preparatory classes; there are also routes after a bachelor's degree. International students can join through more than 140 exchange agreements, double degrees, exchange semesters or years (with tuition waived under partnership agreements), or by applying to the international masters through the school's application platform. Students of about 57 nationalities are on campus.

Non-EU applicants from countries covered by the Études en France procedure must also apply there to obtain a visa. Entry to the general engineering programme is mainly through the CentraleSupélec competitive exam; final-year bachelor's students in scientific fields can sit the Concours Universitaire des Écoles Centrale (written science tests, online interview and English test).
