Centrale Méditerranée is a French grande école of engineering with campuses in Marseille (Technopôle Château-Gombert) and Nice. It belongs to the Groupe des Écoles Centrale, together with CentraleSupélec, Centrale Lille, Centrale Lyon and Centrale Nantes, which trains multidisciplinary general engineers and doctors. It has 102 teacher-researchers, and its research laboratories are shared with the CNRS and Aix-Marseille Université.
Programmes run from bachelor's to doctoral level:
- The Centrale engineering degree (Programme Grande École), with about 320 new students a year
- A three-year Bachelor in responsible engineering and digital transformations, taught in French and English in Nice
- Master's programmes, including international masters and masters run jointly with Aix-Marseille Université
- Doctoral programmes, Mastères Spécialisés and continuing education
International exchange is a central part of the engineering course: the school has 60 double degrees, and all engineering students spend at least one semester abroad through an internship, a double degree or a stay at a partner institution. Admission to the engineering programme is mainly through the Centrale-Supélec competitive exam after two years of preparatory classes, with parallel routes for university students and holders of a first-year master's.
