CITI is a project, programme and change management organisation based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1983 as the Cranfield Information Technology Institute, a specialist university institute that emerged from Cranfield University, and its creation was shaped by the shared interests of six major companies, including British Aerospace, British Telecom and British Petroleum. CITI states that it operates as a private university whose remit is to develop organisational capability through research-led learning, consultancy and applied practice.
Today CITI works mainly with organisations rather than individual students. Alongside its change management consultancy, it delivers accredited training in project, programme and change management and is an accredited partner of several professional bodies. Its offer includes:
- Accredited project, programme and change management courses
- Leadership development
- Masterclasses and workshops
- Online learning
- Capability assessments for individuals, teams and organisations
- Coaching, mentoring and consultancy
