Deutsche Schule San Sebastián, also known as the Colegio Alemán de San Sebastián, is a multilingual school in San Sebastián (Donostia), founded in 1921. It is a concertado school (a private school with public funding), organised as a cooperative of families, and has more than 700 pupils. It provides regulated education from age 2 to 18 in four languages: German, Basque, English and Spanish.
The school presents itself as an official German school, with German immersion from early childhood education (Educación Infantil) to the final year of Bachillerato. Pupils can obtain an official diploma that gives access to universities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The school is supported by the authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany and belongs to the network of German schools abroad as a Deutsch-Profil-Schule (DPS) within the PASCH network.
Pupils have access to a psycho-educational counselling team that follows their progress individually, a canteen with its own kitchen and more than 20 extracurricular activities. The school is located at Paseo Oriamendi 25, 20009 San Sebastián.
