TANDEM San Sebastián (TANDEM Centro de Idiomas Donostia) is a Spanish language school in Gros, a district of San Sebastián in the Basque Country, close to Zurriola beach and about 15 minutes on foot from the old town. It is an accredited centre of the Instituto Cervantes and an official examination centre for the DELE diplomas.

Group courses cover levels A1 to C1. Students with some Spanish can start any Monday, while absolute beginners start on fixed dates. Each week includes a cultural workshop and an activity, and the school has a computer lounge, Wi-Fi and a library for self-study. TANDEM also arranges accommodation in apartments shared with Spanish residents, with host families on half board, or in hotels and hostels. Courses are booked with an enrolment form and a deposit of €150.

• Intensive Course 22: 4 lessons a day, Monday to Friday, plus one workshop and one activity per week; 1 to 7 weeks

Levels A1 to C1, groups of 3 to 8 students (maximum 10), lessons of 45 minutes.

The Intensive Course 22 can be booked for 1 to 7 weeks; for longer stays the Long-term Intensive Course runs for 8 to 48 weeks. Students with previous Spanish can start any Monday; absolute beginners start on set dates. All lessons last 45 minutes.

TANDEM arranges accommodation for its course students:

• Room in an apartment shared with one or two Spanish people who study or work, with use of the kitchen, bathroom and living room; bed sheets and towels provided
• Host family with half board
• Hotels and hostels

Rooms are single unless otherwise requested; double rooms can be reserved for students travelling together. Rooms are booked from Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning, and the accommodation address is sent a week before the course starts.

An extensive program of visits, excursions and social activities is offered along the Spanish course.
