Collège Boréal is a French-language college in Ontario, Canada, serving the province's francophone communities with 30 campuses in 27 communities, including Sudbury, Ottawa, Toronto and Windsor, plus distance learning through Boréal en ligne. Admission Requirements

The minimum requirement is an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, plus programme-specific requirements. International applicants:

  • Apply through the OCAS international admission portal and choose up to two programmes
  • Upload certified academic documents in French or English
  • Upload the passport pages with name and photo
  • Pay a CAD 350 application fee

Language Requirements

Programmes are taught in French, and the college notes that communicating in both French and English is often essential to succeed. Applicants without the equivalent of OSSD English courses take a recognised English placement test; some programmes require a specific level. Depending on the CLB placement, students take 1 to 5 English as a second language (ESL) courses, delivered live online. French language assessments also exist.
