Derzhavin Institute came into existence in 2003 at St. Petersburg, Russia to provide students with a rich Russian language learning experience. The institute sits on a fresh reconstruction of an 18th century mansion. The institute is equipped with 12 classrooms, DVD/VCR players & projectors in each room and free-internet WIFI, theatre, library self study area with study materials, literature & multimedia facilities. There is also a cafe where the students can have coffee & meal which provides an opportunity to interact and foster language learning in a casual way. Some non-instructional activities at Derzhavin include song lessons, Russian Folk Art lessons and watching Russian films. The accommodation options include hotels & guest room, home stay, shared flat, private flat, as well as 3&4 star hotels.
