DU was founded in 1867 at Madison, New Jersey, United States as an undergraduate institute specializing in Liberal Arts Studies. DU has three academic units: College of Liberal Arts, Caspersen School of Graduate Studies and Theological School. Apart from traditional studies programs, DU offers unique programs such as a New York Semester on Contemporary Art, Drew Summer Science Institute, Semester on Wall Street, Semester on the United Nations and a London Semester. DU has its own online radio station known as WMNJ. Moeover, DU holds credit for “The Acorn” & “Insanity’s Horse” - two publications operated by students at DU. The school is licensed by the Middle States Association of Higher Education.
