Valdosta State University (VSU) is a regional university of the University System of Georgia, located in Valdosta, in the US state of Georgia. It was founded in 1906 as South Georgia State Normal College and began classes in 1913. It became Georgia State Womans College in 1922, the coeducational Valdosta State College in 1950 and Valdosta State University in 1993.
VSU offers associate, bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral degrees, as well as certificates, minors and endorsements, on campus or online. Teaching is organised in these colleges:

- College of Science and Mathematics
- College of Nursing and Health Sciences
- Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration
- James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College of Education and Human Services

The university lists 60 graduate programmes and eight fully online undergraduate degrees, and students can take part in year-long study abroad or exchange programmes. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions handles applications from first-year, transfer and international students. On campus, Housing and Residence Life runs the residence halls, and VSU competes in NCAA Division II athletics.

VSU lists 60 graduate programmes leading to master's, specialist and doctoral degrees. Separate fee schedules exist for the professional programmes Master of Science in Nursing, Doctorate in Nursing and Master of Social Work.
