The English Language Institute (ELI) is the English language programme of Valdosta State University (VSU), a regional university in Valdosta, in South Georgia, United States. VSU was founded in 1906 as South Georgia State Normal College and became a university in 1993; it is part of the University System of Georgia and offers associate, bachelor's, graduate and doctoral degrees.

The ELI teaches English to international students who want to enter a degree programme at VSU or simply improve their English. Classes are combined with activities and daily contact in English with teachers and classmates. The institute also organises excursions outside the classroom, for example to:

• Orlando (Disney, Universal and other attractions)
• Saint Augustine
• Atlanta

Students can live on the VSU campus, where Housing and Residence Life offers traditional and suite-style rooms in residence halls. International students who want to continue into a degree apply through VSU's undergraduate admissions office, which has a dedicated section for international applicants.
