Escola Global International School is a British international school for children aged 2 to 18 in the Parc Bit innovation park in Palma de Mallorca. It opened in 2008 and has families of more than 30 nationalities. The school follows the British National Curriculum, enriched with Spanish, and teaches through project-based learning, outdoor learning and an enrichment programme. There is one class per year group.

  • Early Years (ages 2 to 5): Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Reception
  • Primary (ages 5 to 11): Key Stages 1 and 2
  • Secondary (ages 11 to 16): Key Stages 3 and 4, leading to IGCSEs
  • Sixth Form (ages 16 to 18): Cambridge International A levels, which can be combined with the Spanish Bachillerato

Students obtain IGCSEs and Cambridge International A levels as well as the official Spanish homologation of their studies. In Key Stage 4 some students follow a dual system, adding Catalan and Spanish social sciences. Sixth Form students can also take the International Project Qualification and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, with courses such as Digital Media, Environmental Management and Marine Sciences. Meals are cooked daily on site, and the school is a certified Eco-School and Blue School. Applications are accepted all year, subject to availability; from Year 3 applicants take a short English and Maths assessment.

Admission Requirements

Applications are accepted all year, subject to availability, for ages 2 to 18; there is one class per year group.

  • Enquiry form, phone or email; academic reports from the last two years are requested before the visit
  • Campus visit and meeting with a Head of Learning; from Year 3 a short assessment in English and Maths
  • Offer letter, or a place on the waiting list if no places are available
  • Final enrolment forms once the place is confirmed
