The Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny de Castelló (EASD Castelló) is a public school of art and design in Castellón de la Plana. It belongs to the Instituto Superior de Enseñanzas Artísticas de la Comunitat Valenciana (ISEACV), which depends on the Generalitat Valenciana. Founded in 1984, it shares a building on Plaza Fadrell with the city's professional and higher music conservatories.

Its main higher education offer is the official design degrees (grados oficiales en Diseño): four years of on-site study with compulsory attendance and 240 ECTS credits. Students can enrol full-time or part-time. Specialities:

  • Graphic design, with an illustration itinerary
  • Interior design
  • Product design
  • Fashion design

The school also offers an official master's degree in printmaking and screen printing (grabado y serigrafía), higher vocational cycles (ciclos formativos de grado superior) and a functional ceramics course.

Holders of the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño have direct access to the degrees. Other applicants, with the Bachillerato, a Técnico Superior, a university degree or the university entrance exam for people over 25, sit a specific entrance exam.

Admission

  • Direct access with the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño
  • Specific entrance exam for holders of the Bachillerato, a Técnico Superior, a university degree or the university entrance exam for people over 25
  • A general entrance exam for applicants over 18 without academic requirements

For the 2026-27 academic year the specific exam was held on 7 July 2026 (ordinary call) and 3 September 2026 (extraordinary call). Registration is managed through the ISEACV.
