The Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño León Ortega is a school of art and design in Huelva, at Avenida Miss Whitney 56. It offers the arts Bachillerato (plastic arts, design and image), intermediate and higher vocational cycles in plastic arts and design, and higher arts education in Product Design.
The higher studies lead to the Grado en Diseño de Producto, coordinated by a dedicated department for higher design education. The vocational cycles cover the professional families of sculpture, artistic ceramics, graphic and audiovisual communication, industrial design and interior design; a new higher cycle in advertising graphics starts in the 2026/27 academic year.
Admission to the Grado requires the Bachillerato in any modality, a higher arts qualification, a university degree, a Técnico Superior qualification or an equivalent or officially recognised title, plus a specific entrance test (prueba específica). Holders of the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño are exempt from the test. New degree students enrol online; continuing students enrol in person.
The school runs Erasmus+ calls, including traineeship mobility for students of the higher vocational cycles and the Product Design degree.
