The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Zamora is the official language school of Zamora, in Castilla y León, with centres in Zamora, Benavente and Toro. At the Zamora centre it has departments of German, Spanish, French, English, Italian and Portuguese; the Benavente and Toro sections teach English. The school also offers distance English through That's English!, short specific courses (A2+ and C1) and Erasmus+ mobility grants for students, for example to Siena for students of Italian.

Spanish for foreigners is taught by the Spanish department in Zamora, which publishes its textbook list for the 2026-27 academic year and its teaching programme. The site does not list the Spanish levels on offer, so it is best to check the timetable or contact the school office.

Admission follows the common procedure for official language schools in Castilla y León. Students must be 16 or turn 16 in the year they start (14 for a language other than the first foreign language at secondary school). Everyone starts at A1 unless they present a recognised certificate or pass a paid placement test (prueba de clasificación). For 2026-27, an extraordinary application period ran from 20 July to 14 September 2026. The office deals with visitors in the morning, Monday to Friday, and answers questions by email.
