The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de León is a public official language school in the city of León (Castile and León), at Calle Santos Olivera 17. It was founded in the 1986-87 school year under the Spanish Ministry of Education and has been run by the Junta de Castilla y León since 2000-01. It teaches seven languages: German, Spanish for foreigners, Chinese, French, English, Italian and Portuguese.

Courses follow the CEFR levels Básico A1 and A2, Intermedio B1 and B2 and Avanzado C1, with C2 in German, French and English. Spanish is taught in the classroom (presencial) modality with 4.5 hours a week on alternate days, 120 teaching hours over a school year that runs from October to May; for Spanish the school also offers intensive courses organised in two semesters. The school notes that applicants for Spanish nationality by residence can prove basic knowledge of Spanish with its certificates from A1 to C1. English is also taught at a distance through the That's English programme, and candidates can sit the certification exams in the free modality (libre).

The main admission period is in April and May for the following year, and remaining places can be requested in September. The school has 30 classrooms, a library and a student association that runs conversation clubs, and it holds Erasmus+ accreditation for 2024-2027.
