The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Ronda is the official language school of Ronda, in the province of Málaga, run by the Andalusian regional education department (Junta de Andalucía). It is in a former primary school building on Plaza de San Antonio, at the entrance to the Dehesa district from the Seville road. The school teaches German, French, English and Spanish, with curricula based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Spanish for foreigners is a recent addition: the school started a Basic A1 Spanish course in the 2025-26 academic year and added Basic A2 for 2026-27. Classroom courses run from September to June, with classes in the afternoon. A blended (semipresencial) format exists only for English at Intermediate B2. Students who pass the certificate exams at Basic A2, Intermediate B1, Intermediate B2 or Advanced C1 can request the official certificate; external candidates (libre) can also sit these exams without attending classes.
Applications for the 2026-27 academic year were open from 1 to 20 May 2026. The minimum age is 16 before 1 January 2027, or 14 for a language other than the first foreign language studied at secondary school. Students who missed the application period can ask the school office about remaining places by email or phone.
