Escuela Internacional Montessori Ronda y Serranía

Escuela Internacional Montessori Ronda y Serranía (Montessori Ronda) is a private international school in the countryside outside Ronda, in the province of Málaga, at Partido Rural Los Morales. It is authorised by the Junta de Andalucía and offers a personalised education based on the Montessori method in a natural setting, for children up to the age of 12. The project was started by a group of families and educators.

• Casa de Niños (Children's House): ages 3 to 6
• Primary: ages 6 to 12, in two groups, Taller I (from age 6 to 9) and Taller II

Children learn in prepared Montessori classrooms with a teacher, called a guide, in small groups, so that each child can learn at their own pace and follow their own interests. Contact with nature is part of daily school life. The school is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:00, with an early-morning class from 8:00 and supervised lunch.

Applications are accepted throughout the school year. Families first attend an information session, at the school or online, then have an interview with the teaching team for the relevant stage; the school then tells them whether the child has been accepted and enrolment can be completed.
