The Juris Master is a one-year, 30-credit master's degree in law for professionals who are not lawyers, with concentrations in banking, education and health law. It is taught remotely, with live online classes on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, and new cohorts start in the fall, spring or summer semester. The JM does not qualify graduates to practise law; for that, the college refers students to its JD programme. Students have access to the FIU Law Library, and financial aid is available.
