Funcarele (Fundación de Cartagena para la Enseñanza de la Lengua y la Cultura Española) is a school of Spanish for foreigners in Cartagena, in the Region of Murcia. It is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and is an official exam centre for DELE, SIELE and CCSE, as well as for the Trinity ISE and GESE exams. The school is based in the Palacio Molina, Calle Jara 28, in Cartagena.

An online Spanish level test is available. The programme includes culture classes and activities, and students can use the library of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. For accommodation, the school arranges homestays with Spanish families (meals included), shared or private flats in the historic centre and rooms in partner hotels; accommodation should be booked at least 15 days in advance. Staff can answer enquiries in Spanish, English, Ukrainian, Romanian and Russian.

Housing
Funcarele arranges accommodation for its Spanish students:
- Homestay with a Spanish family, with breakfast, lunch and dinner; most families live within a 20-minute walk of the school, with at most three students per family
- Flats in the historic centre of Cartagena, close to the school, with one to four bedrooms; shared flats with Spanish or international students can be arranged
- Rooms in partner hotels in Cartagena
Accommodation must be booked at least 15 days in advance through the school office.
