Fundación OMIE

Fundación OMIE (Osasun Mentalaren Ikerketarako Ezarkundea) is a Basque foundation for mental health research based in Bilbao. It offers postgraduate training in psychotherapy for professionals, several of its programmes being the University of Deusto's own qualifications (títulos propios), and it runs an Institute of Group Analysis (Instituto de Grupoanálisis) whose membership is open to graduates in medicine, psychology, nursing or social sciences with clinical experience in mental health care.

Programmes for 2026-27 include:

• Máster en Psicoterapia Analítica Grupal: University of Deusto master's programme (máster propio), starting September 2026 in Bilbao, Barcelona and Madrid
• Expert course in mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic interventions: University of Deusto qualification, in person or remote, from 23 October 2026 in Bilbao
• Expert course in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy interventions: University of Deusto qualification, blended, next edition from 29 January 2027 in Bilbao
• Training in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) for personality disorders, in Bilbao
• Training in multifamily groups, blended, from 5 February 2027 in Bilbao
• A course on resilience and socio-emotional skills for working with adolescents

The foundation also organises group supervision in Barcelona, workshops and lectures. Its office is at Calle Ramón y Cajal 2 bis, Bilbao.
