GAIA, Centro de Estudios de Arte y Restauración, is an art and restoration school in Valencia that has specialised in artistic and technical training since 1993. It has two centres in the city, on Avenida del Oeste and calle El Triador, and the school states that more than 4,000 students have trained there. GAIA is also a heritage restoration company that carries out restoration and public art projects.

  • Drawing and painting, with specialities such as watercolour, oil, portrait, landscape and illustration
  • Conservation and restoration of paintings, sculpture and furniture, and carpentry
  • Antiques and art history
  • Interior design and decoration
  • Clay modelling and sculpture
  • Preparation for the entrance tests of the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Valencia (EASD)
  • The school's own master programmes in drawing and painting, furniture restoration and Valencian art heritage

Most courses run through the academic year, and summer courses are offered in 2026. Many courses need no previous experience, and students who complete a course receive the school's own certificate. A free trial class can be booked, enrolment is open all year, and course fees can be paid online, by bank transfer or at the school; the fee is refunded if a student cannot start the course. GAIA also runs its own online art training platform, Método Giotto.
