Turiart

Turiart is a cultural tourism company based in the historic centre of Valencia, active since 2000. It designs, manages and runs cultural tourism programmes in the provinces of Valencia, Castellón and Alicante, and its team includes historians, artists, teachers, cultural mediators, philologists and archaeologists. In 2020 it received the SICTED tourism quality commitment certificate.

Since 2001 Turiart has also organised training courses in cultural tourism and tour guiding, some in collaboration with public bodies and others privately. In 2012 it launched the first edition of its 600-hour Tourist Guide Course. Its current training catalogue includes:

• Materials and courses to prepare for the official tourist guide qualification exam of the Valencian Community, including a masterclass for the language test
• Online course for expert tour leaders
• Masterclass in oral communication of tourism and cultural content
• Practical training for Valencia tourist guides

Besides training, Turiart offers guided cultural walks in Valencia, routes and activities for families with children, school group activities and tailor-made programmes for companies, as well as translation services. Its office is at Calle del Editor Cabrerizo 3, 46001 Valencia.
