Glion Institute of Higher Education (Glion Hospitality & Luxury Business Education) is a school of hospitality and luxury business management, founded in 1962, with campuses in Switzerland and London. Its accreditations include the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), the Swiss Accreditation Council and the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). In the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, Glion is ranked third worldwide for Hospitality & Leisure Management, according to the school.

Some bachelor's students begin with an Experiential Year before the degree. Applicants whose first language is not English need an English test result, for example IELTS 5.5 for the bachelor's and IELTS 6.0 for most master's programmes; Glion offers a Pathway to English Proficiency for those below this level. The school states a student-to-faculty ratio of 15:1 and more than 100 nationalities on campus.

Admission
- Bachelor's: minimum age 17.5; a secondary education diploma meeting Swiss/European university entry requirements (e.g. Maturité, IB, Abitur, A-levels, high school diploma) for entry via the Experiential Year; direct entry requires a related vocational or professional baccalaureate, or a diploma plus one year of relevant work experience
- All bachelor's applicants: personalized admissions assessment of motivation and documents
- Master's: minimum age 21 and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Executive master's: minimum age 25, a university degree and ideally three years of work experience including management
Language requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English, and who have not studied for the last two years in English, must submit an English certificate issued within the 12 months before the programme starts:
- Bachelor's: IELTS 5.5 overall (min. 5.0 in each component) or Cambridge First grade C
- Master's: IELTS 6.0 overall (min. 5.5 in each component), Cambridge First grade A or Cambridge Advanced grade C
- London: non-UK passport holders need IELTS UKVI
Students below the required level can take Glion's Pathway to English Proficiency.
