The University of Virginia is a public research university, located in in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. Its Hispanic Studies in Valencia, Spain program is aimed at students wishing to expand their knowledge in the Spanish and Latin American culture and languages. The program has been created by the University of Virginia, which also ensures the quality of the courses offered. All grades, transcripts, credits etc. earned in the UVA Hispanic Studies Program are accredited by the University of Virginia and forwarded to any other American institution of higher learning. Except for the wide range of courses made available through the program, there is a long list of activities and experiences that give students the opportunity to fully immerse in the Spanish atmosphere.
