Hofstra University is a private institution of higher learning established in 1935. It is located in the Village of Hempstead, which is about 40km away from New York. The school offers about 140 undergraduate and 150 graduate programs in the fields of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business Communication, Health and Human Services, Education, and Honors Studies. Furthermore, there is a School of Law and a School of Medicine. The institution is proud with the small classes that ensure individual attention to each student. The university holds 22 academic and 24 total accreditations, while ninety-three percent of faculty staff hold the highest degree in their field.
