Husson University is a private university in Bangor, Maine, in the United States, accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. It was founded in 1898 to prepare students for commerce, teaching and telegraphy. In 1953 the State of Maine authorised it to grant Bachelor of Science degrees, and on 11 October 2008 it became a university. Carnegie Classifications lists it as a Doctoral/Professional University.

Husson offers more than 110 programmes in business, communications, counseling, criminal justice, education and health, aimed at high school graduates, transfer students and working professionals:

• Undergraduate degrees, for example in Nursing, Audio Engineering, Business Administration and Psychology
• Graduate degrees, including the MBA and MS and MSN programmes
• Professional doctorates in physical therapy (DPT) and occupational therapy (OTD)
• Certificates and post-master's certificates
• Online degrees with six start dates per year

On campus there are four housing options: three traditional residence halls (Hart, Carlisle and Bell Hall), suite-style units for up to four residents in the Darling Learning Center, and townhouses with four bedrooms and a full kitchen. Housing and dining are billed together. The university has an Office of International Initiatives and a contact point for visa and SEVIS inquiries, and it competes with 22 NCAA Division III sports teams.
