Instituto Hispánico de Murcia is a private school in the centre of Murcia that teaches Spanish as a foreign language. It is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, has been operating for over 25 years according to the school, and states that it applies the UNE-EN 14804 standard for providers of language study stays. It offers more than 30 Spanish courses, face-to-face or online.
- Intensive course of 20 lessons per week in small groups

- Erasmus course on 2 or 3 days a week, compatible with university classes
- Long-term course over several months, also for students who need a student visa
- Level courses following the CEFR and courses for official exams

Cultural activities and excursions complement the classes, and students may bring a pet. New students take a level test before being placed in a group, and a certificate is issued to those who attend at least 80% of the class hours. The school also arranges accommodation with host families or in shared flats with other students.

Housing
The school offers two types of accommodation in Murcia:
- Host family: single or double room, half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (three meals a day), own key; most families live in the city centre, a few minutes' walk or a short public-transport ride from the school, and the school holds their criminal-record certificates
- Shared flat with other students: single or double room in safe, central areas, at most 25 minutes' walk from the school; mixed, men-only or women-only flats and flats for couples or pet owners are available, and the school charges a management fee for finding the room
