Learnlife Urban Hub is an international secondary school for students aged 12 to 18 in the Eixample district of Barcelona, on Carrer d'Enric Granados. It is part of Learnlife, an education organisation founded in 2017, and has operated since 2019. According to the school, all Learnlife schools are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

Learnlife follows a learner-centred, project-based model: instead of rows of desks there are studios and open spaces, and progress is assessed through competencies rather than traditional exams or grades. Students are grouped by age:

  • Explorers (ages 12 to 14)
  • Creators (ages 14 to 16)
  • Changemakers (ages 16 to 18)

Teaching is in English, with Spanish and Catalan offered as languages. Students at the Urban Hub who meet the criteria receive an American High School Diploma and can qualify for the Spanish ESO certificate. Families come from 32 nationalities. Learnlife also runs a primary school in Castelldefels (Eco Hub, ages 5 to 12) and a school near Sitges (Village Hub). Applications are accepted all year; the admissions team reviews each application and contacts the family by email.
