Letras Castellanas is a small Spanish language school in the geographical centre of Ávila, with seven classrooms, a small library, a courtyard and a common room. It teaches Spanish to students of all ages and levels throughout the year, with native-speaker teachers.

The main programme is the intensive general Spanish course, with 5 hours of class a day from Monday to Friday and a maximum of 8 students per class; according to the school, groups average 2-4 students in winter and 4-7 in summer. Courses start every Monday (beginners on the first Monday of each month), and a placement test is held on the first day. The price includes teaching materials, a certificate of attendance and afternoon activities. Other options:

Students usually stay with Spanish host families (non-smoking, normally one student per family); a student residence or hotel is also possible. Enrolment is by online form with a copy of the passport and a €75 enrolment fee.

Individual lessons for one student cost €26 per hour; the DELE preparation culture course (8 hours) costs €136. Enrolment requires a €75 payment.

The accommodation price includes the arrival and departure days. After enrolment, the school sends the address of the accommodation.
